This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.89 of 2014.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.89 of 2014 on 20.01.2014 under Sections 406 and 420 IPC. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer.

4.Today Mr.G.Pachamuthu, Sub-Inspector of Police, K-8 Arumbakkam Police Station is present before this Court. On instructions, learned Government Advocate submitted that if three months time is granted, investigation will be completed. 5.Recording the submission, three months time is granted from the date of receipt of copy of this order, to complete the investigation in Crime No.89 of 2014 and either file a charge sheet or a closure report as the case may be, under due https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

intimation to the de facto complainant provided there is no any legal impediment.
