Order (1) This petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to extend the time for complying with the order of this Court dated 17.12.2025, made in the aforesaid Civil Revision Petition.
(2) This Court, while allowing the Civil Revision Petition on 17.12.2025, directed the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the credit of the suit in OS.No.134/2020, on the file of the District Munsif Court, Paramathi, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and further directed the Trial Court to expedite the trial and dispose of the suit on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 30.04.2026.
(3) The petitioner has filed this petition to extend the time to comply with the conditional order of this Court dated 17.12.2025. The petitioner submitted that his counsel received the order copy which was made ready on 12.01.2026, only on 29.01.2026, since the clerk attached to the office of the counsel, had gone to his native place for Pongal celebrations and returned only on 27.01.2026. The petitioner submitted that the delay was neither willful nor wanton, but due to the said reason. (4) Since the petitioner has not been able to pay the amount because of the lapse on the part of the petitioner's counsel, this Court is inclined to extend the time by a further period of one week. (5) The petitioner shall deposit the amount of Rs.10,000/- to the credit of OS.No.
134/2020, on the file of the District Munsif Court, Paramathi, within one week from today. The Trial Court, shall thereafter proceed with the suit as directed by this Court in the order dated 17.12.2025. (6) The Trial Court shall accept payment of Rs.10,000/- on production of the Web copy of the order and shall not insist upon production of the certified copy of the same.
