Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass order on the petition dated 21.11.2013 for the issuance of patta for the agricultural land comprising survey no.255/2 to the extent of 30 cent at old Perungalathur.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that she is owning an agricultural land admeasuring to an extent of 30 cents in Survey No.255/2 at Old Perungalathur and would further state that she derived the property by way of registered settlement deed executed by her husband vide document no.3413 of 2012 on the file of the Office of the Sub Registrar, Padappai.

3.The petitioner would further state that she is cultivating the said land with the support of bore well and electricity service connection and would further state that she approached the Agricultural Co-operative Bank for obtaining loan for cultivation of the above said land without any financial crisis and since it is very difficult to obtain loan without furnishing the patta, she applied for patta for the above said property on 21.11.2013 with all necessary enclosures and would further state that she had also presented petition for issuance of patta on 03.06.2014 and 05.05.2015 before the Zamabandhi and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

4.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate who accepts

notice on behalf of the respondents.

5.This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2013, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
