Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring that the letter No.069084/323/G.67/G.671/2019 dated 13.11.2019 issued by the second respondent insofar as prescribing the cutoff date of joining for individuals of different communities as Line Inspector or equivalent post for non-diploma holders, as criteria for transfer of service as Junion Engineers/Electrical II Grade, as null and void and further direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to participate in the appointment by transfer of service for the post of Junior Engineer/Electrical-Gr-II based on feeder category seniority and grant them all consequential service and monetary benefits.

ORDER

This writ petitions have been filed for declaration, declaring that the letter issued by the second respondent dated 13.11.2019, as null and void and further direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to participate in the appointment by transfer of service for the post of Junior Engineer/Electrical-Gr-II based on feeder category seniority.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous and nothing survive in this writ petition. He also made an endorsement in the Court bundle to that effect.

Recording the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
