Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the fifth respondent herein to permit the petitioner to continue to do his malligai kadai business in the shop situated in the above property comprised in S.F.No.509/4 situated at Venganoor Village, Vepanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District as a tenant by fixing the fair rent by considering the petitioner representation dated 17.12.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The writ petition is filed directing the fifth respondent to permit the petitioner to continue to do his Maligai Kadai business in the shop situated in the property comprised in S.F.No.509/4 situated at Venganoor Village, Vepanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District as a tenant by fixing the fair rent by considering the petitioner representation dated 17.12.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. When the matter came up for admission, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the petitioner, who was originally in occupation, has already handed over the possession and the possession is now with the temple. The said place is not going to be rented out and is going to be used as an office for the Executive Officer. Therefore
there is no question of again permitting the petitioner to put up his Maligai Kadai.
3. In view of the said submission made presently, the request of the petitioner cannot be considered, however, if at any time the temple is putting up any commercial shops or if they are going to rent out to any third party, at that point of time the petitioner's case also can be considered in accordance with law.
4. With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
