O R D E R
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to quash the order passed by the Assistant Executive Engineer, Tamil Nadu Housing Board to disconnect the Electricity Service Connection provided to the petitioner-Trust.
2. In view of the directions issued by this Court in WP No.33362 of 2014 on 27.03.2023, no further consideration is required in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition. In the above writ petition, the Tamil Nadu Housing Board Authorities are directed to evict the petitioner and take possession of the subject land within a period of two weeks. Thus, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Authorities shall coordinate with the Authorities of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board for carrying out eviction and to take possession of the subject property by the Housing Board.
3. In respect of the electricity consumption charges, the learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the petitioner is punctual
in paying the electricity charges to the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board. If at all any due is to be recovered, the Electricity Board Authorities are directed to recover the consumption charges from the petitioner-Sri Thrinethra Dasabuja Anjeneyar Seva Trust.
4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
