This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the Proceedings in Letter No.Na.Ka.1172/2012/D1, dated 23.07.2012 passed by the Second Respondent and to direct the second respondent to return the recovered pension amount to the petitioner.

2. Today, 11.03.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the second and third respondents submitted that the petitioner Mr.K.M.Bellaraj died on 14.11.2020 and he also submitted the copy of the death certificate to that effect issued by the Department of Revenue Administration, dated 23.11.2020.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the second and third respondents, this writ petition is 2/4

dismissed as abated. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
