Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for deposit of the remaining amount of Rs.20 lakhs as per the order dated 24.01.2021 made in the above criminal original petition by another 6 weeks. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S VIJAYARAGHAVAN FOR M/S.M.SURESH KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. S.SANTHOSH, Govt. Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.270 of 2022, dated 24.01.2022, for executing the sureties and to deposit the amount.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to illness, the petitioner could not able to furnish the sureties within the stipulated time. Hence, he prays to extend the time.

Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that since the petitioner could not able to furnish the sureties within the stipulated time, this petition is ordered and the time for executing the sureties is extended finally by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
