Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent Authorities to initiate appropriate legal proceedings to retrieve/recover the Lands Assigned illegally to the Respondents 11 to 21 in Survey Nos.77/5, 77/6 and 77/7A at Nochimallai Village, Tiruvannamalai Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and further for a direction directing the Respondent Authorities to initiate Departmental and Criminal Proceedings against the Respondents 11 to 21 and all the Officials involved in the above said Land Assignment in view of the Petitioner's Representation dated 30-01-2019, 20-04-2019, 0312-2020, 09-01-2021 and 20-01-2021. ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent Authorities to initiate appropriate legal proceedings to retrieve/recover the Lands Assigned illegally to the Respondents 11 to 21 in Survey Nos.77/5, 77/6 and 77/7A at Nochimallai Village, Tiruvannamalai Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and further for a direction direting the Respondent Authorities to initiate Departmental and Criminal Proceedings against the Respondents 11 to 21 and all the Officials
involved in the above said Land Assignment in view of the Petitioner's Representation dated 30-01-2019, 20-04-2019, 0312-2020, 09-01-2021 and 20-01-2021. 2.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 to 10 and made a statement on instructions that an enquiry has been conducted on the representation of the petitioner and a final proceedings has to be passed.
3.The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.
4.Since the General Elections to the State Legislative Assembly has already been notified, the seventh respondent, who is the competent Authority to dispose of the said representation is now required to pass the final proceedings on the representation within a period of 12 weeks after 21.05.2021.
