2. Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel for petitioner points out that the appeal is against conviction and sentence dated 18.07.2022 handed down in S.C.No.8 of 2020 by the Special Court for Exclusive trial for Cases under POCSO Act, Chennai.

4. Mr.R.Muniapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for respondent and submits that no other appeal has been preferred by the same accused. However, learned counsel for petitioner submits that co-accused has preferred an appeal in Crl.A.No.1128 of 2022 and the same is pending in this Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of the matter, we are inclined to accede to the prayer. Delay condoned.

6. Captioned application ordered as prayed for.

7. Post numbering, list captioned Criminal Appeal along with Crl.A.No.1128 of 2022 in due course.
