(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.S.Venkatesh, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 5 and Mr.NRR.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader (HR & CE) for respondent 7.
2. It is hardly twenty days since the petitioner has filed the revision petition. Now, the present writ petition has been filed seeking directions against the first respondent to consider the revision petition filed by the petitioner. We cannot encourage such petitions.
3. The authority certainly has to decide the revision, on its own merits and in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months.
4. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.4819 of 2024 is closed (S.V.G., CJ.) (D.B.C., J.) 23.02.2024 Index :
