O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent namely the Tahsildar, Tiruttani Taluk Office, Tiruttani Taluk, Thiruvallur District 631 209 to subdivide the joint patta and issue a separate patta in the name of the petitioner's son namely Deenadayalan, to the land comprising Survey No.148/1B with an extent of 3.65 cents out of 5.56 acres situated at No.44, Veerakaveri Rajapuram (VKR), Tiruttani Taluk.

In respect of property at Survey No.148/1B situated at No.44, Veerakaveri Rajapuram (VKR), Tiruttani Taluk, the petitioner had given an application on 06.01.2021 and 06.09.2021 to the respondents for issuance of separate sub division patta and in order to consider the said application, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Ms.T.Nithya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would 2/4

submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and necessary orders to that effect would be passed on merits and in accordance with law by the 2nd respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court directs the 2nd respondent Tahsildar to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 06.01.2021 and 06.09.2021 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
