The petitioner was arrested on 07.01.2021 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 341, 120(B), 307, 302, 506(II) read with 109 of I.P.C. in Crime No.659 of 2021. The First Information Report reveals that due to political rivalry, one Tamilaravan was done to death by the rivals and the petitioner is one of the named accused. 2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent states that the petitioner is a history sheeter and have been engaged to commit murder of the said Tamilaravan. Two of the accused are still at large and if the petitioner is released on bail, he may also abscond and the investigation may not progress. Recording the objection of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petition for bail stands dismissed. 28.02.2022 vri/dsn DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN,J.
