This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.

2. Heard Ms.K.Gomathi, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.V.J.Priyadarsana, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] appearing for fifth respondent.
3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through a registered settlement deed dated 22.09.2011. The patta has also been issued in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.801. The petitioner made an application seeking for survey of the property and whenever the officials came to the property, respondents 6 and 7 prevented the officials from making the survey. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner seeking for survey of the subject property and the survey shall be conducted in line with the title documents and the patta issued in favour of the petitioner and 3/6
it shall be done in the presence of the respondents 6 and 7. If any law and order problem arises, the fifth respondent is directed to provide necessary police protection. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
