ORDER

Petitioner seeks quash of FIR in Crime No.51 of 2016, dated 04.10.2016 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for first respondent.

3. The petitioner is arrayed as accused in Crime No.51 of 2016 on the file of first respondent for offences u/s.418 and 420 IPC.

4. A bare reading of FIR, quash of which is sought, inter alia informs petitioner entrusted with the job of delivering rice sold by the wholesaler to the complainant, had effected short deliveries and usurped proceeds. Besides manipulating records and to the tune of Rs.80,00,000/-, petitioner had further cheated complainant of Rs.43,00,000/-. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. This Court is of the opinion that FIR in Crime No.51 of 2016 on the face of it prima facie reveals commission of cognizable offences. Hence, the petition shall stand dismissed. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
