O R D E R

Rajammal, petitioner herein seeks direction to the second respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner, dated 23.5.2015 and investigate the same.

2 In pursuance of her petition, dated 23.5.2015, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner came across a corrupt S.S.I. of Police and Inspector of Police (L&O) in Ramanatham police station, in Cuddalore District. 3 The learned Additional Public Prosecutor filed counter. In para 6 of the counter, it is stated as under: ''It is further submitted that as per the direction of 1st respondent, I registered a preliminary enquiry as 163/POL/2015/CL on 10.6.2015 and am conducting the preliminary enquiry which is in progress.''

5 The learned Addl. Public Prosecutor submits that they will complete the enquiry within 7 days.

6 In the circumstances, the said Investigating officer shall complete the enquiry within 7 days from today and if any cognizable offence is disclosed he will take further action in accordance with law.

7 Mr.D.Shanmugam, Inspector, Vigilance & Anti Corruption, Cuddalore who is present today in Court noted this submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

8 With the above direction, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
