ORDER

The petitioner, who is a member of Konda Reddy Community and has been issued to such community certificate by the Thasildar of concerned jurisdiction vide certificate dated 14.09.1978, seeks to quash the enquiry summons dated 07.03.2018 issued by the respondent herein.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he belongs to Konda Reddy Community, after due enquiry, the Tahsildar, Mettur, Salem District issued a community certificate. On the basis of the said community certificate, the petitioner got employment in UCO Bank and has been worked in the said Bank. It is the case of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner that after a lapse of more than three decades, the genuineness of the such certificate is sought to be tested by the respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel on both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Without expressing any opinion on the genuineness of the community certificate issued to the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent and produce the relevant documents that are in his possession to prove that he is a member of the Konda Reddy Community.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
