O R D E R

Mr.V.Prabhu learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action to sub-divide the land purchased under the valid title deed and issue patta in his name, within a time frame.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has submitted his online application on 16.06.2018 for sub-divisions and issuance of patta. However, the respondents 1 to 3 have not passed any order so far.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the respondents 1 and 2 may be directed to consider the petitioner's application on payment of necessary charges, within a time frame.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.06.2018 for sub-division and issuance of patta and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the 4th respondent, within the period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
