Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order made in W.P.No.23545 of 2021 dated 02.11.2021 by this Hon'ble High Court, Chennai under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971 and

pass orders.

ORDER

( This case is heard through video conference) This Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to punish the respondent herein for the failure to comply order passed by this Court, in W.P.No.23545 of 2021 dated 02.11.2021

2. When the case came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the order passed in W.P.No.23545 of 2021 dated 02.11.2021 has been complied with by the respondent. He has also produced a copy of the letter of the Additional Chief Secretary to Government dated 26.05.2023 before this Court and the same was recorded.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent as well as the copy of letter of the Additional Chief Secretary to Government dated 26.05.2023,

wherein a direction was issued to the authorities concerned to ensure the correct ownership in respect of the subject property, this Contempt Petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to produce documents if any before the authorities concerned to prove his case within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order. 09.06.2023 Speaking/Non Speaking smn
