ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.79 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 294(b), 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

2. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation in Crime No.79 of 2024 has been completed and the final report was filed before the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, on 02.01.2025. However, the same has not yet been taken on file.

3. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
