This criminal original petition has been filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

seeking to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings in Crime No.280 of 2017 on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Team-I, Chennai and quash the same.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent/State submitted that the investigation in Crime No.280 of 2017 was completed and final report was filed in C.C.No.5736 of 2018 before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court (Special Court for CCB and CBCID cases), Chennai and the charges have also been framed on 19.11.2019.

In view of the above developments, this criminal original petition is closed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to raise all the points before the trial Court during trial. The trial Court is directed to expeditiously complete the trial after normalcy returns, provided, the accused cooperates. Connected Crl.M.P.No.2395 of 2018 is closed.
