O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioners with respect to the subject property based on the representation dated 15.10.2024.

Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for Respondents 1 to 3.

The petitioner is claiming right and title over the suit 2/5

property by virtue of the registered Sale deed dated 03.06.2024. Earlier, the petitioners approached this Court and filed WP No.34040 of 2024 for a direction to the 3rd respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioners by considering their representation. This writ petition was dismissed as withdrawn by an order dated 20.11.2024.This is in view of the fact that the writ petition was filed immediately after the representation was made without giving time to the authorities to act upon.

It is seen from records that already proceedings have been issued by the RDO, dated 03.05.2024 and based on this order, the petitioners are seeking for the patta in their names. Since the representation made by the petitioners is still pending and no orders have been passed, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to deal with the representation submitted by the petitioners on 15.10.2024, in line with the proceedings of the RDO dated 03.05.2024 and final 3/5

orders shall be passed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
