stipulated by this Court based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2023 and 21.11.2023.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents to forthwith give police protection to the petitioner and his family members based on the representation of the petitioner dated 21.11.2023.

2. Heard Mr.S.Pavesh Kannan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation at the earliest.

Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the respondents to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2023 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
