ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Petitioner, through this public interest litigation, seeks a direction that respondents may not be allowed to open Tasmac shop with attached Bar in Ward-F, Block-1, T.S.No.1/5, O.S.No.163/3, Ambur Town, M.V.Swami Nagar, Ambur, Thirupattur District.

2. Learned counsel for Corporation has placed before us a copy of license granted by the District Collector and also the subsequent order passed on 11.02.2026 directing temporary closure of shop in view of objection raised by the public.

3. Since the shop has been closed, though temporarily, petitioner should await final decision that may be taken by the authorities. In case, temporary closure is removed and the shop is also allowed to be operated, petitioner may revive the petition.
