O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2013, thereby direct the respondent to issue sale deed in respect of the property situated at Plot No.19, Door No.30, Thiruveethiamman Koil Street, Kalikundram, Chennai to an extent of 0.81.0 sq.m. of land and house in the name of the petitioner by receiving appropriate charges towards the same.

2.Mr.B.Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given the representation as early as on 25.06.2013 and therefore, it would be suffice to direct the respondent to consider and pass orders on the same within a time frame.

3.Mrs.D.Latha, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that if a direction is given to the respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, it would be done within the said period.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2013 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
