Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent in Rc.No.C2/13039/2021 dated 05.06.2021 and set aside the same and consequently direct the respondents to produce the detenu Anbu @ Sarathkumar, S/o.Kasimani, aged 31 years, the detenu herein, now confined at the Central Prison, Cuddalore.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the matter has become infructuous, inasmuch as, the period of detention has already expired.

In such view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition is closed as having become infructuous.
