O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.72 of 2016 on the file of the 1st respondent herein, and to quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The 2nd respondent lodged a complaint before the 1st respondent on 16.02.2016. The 1st respondent police registered the complaint and filed an F.I.R in Crime No.72 of 2016 against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 120B, 406, 467, 471 and 420 of IPC.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to quash the FIR. However, considering the allegation made in the complaint by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent is directed to complete the enquiry in Crime No.72 of 2016 and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
