This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to register the Power of Attorney deed dated 20.01.2024 which was presented by the petitioner in favour of one Murugan. 1/3

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the respondent is in the process of issuing a refusal check slip by assigning the reasons as to why the document cannot be entertained and registered.

In the light of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the respondent to issue the refusal check slip within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is left open to the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law.
