This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 16.09.2024 wherein the petitioners are seeking for adding their names in the revenue records.

Heard Mr.M.Jaisingh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate for respondent. 3.

The petitioners are claiming right and title over the subject property through a registered sale deed dated 13.04.2024. The petitioner made an application on 16.09.2024 to add their names in the joint patta that has been issued in Patta No.1454. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioners on 16.09.2024 and necessary orders shall be passed within a period 2/4

of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 5.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
