JUDGEMENT When the Criminal Appeal was taken up for hearing on 20.09.2018, the learned counsel for the appellants sought adjournment and hence the matter was directed to be posted on 25.09.2018. Even on 25.09.2018 and 26.09.2018, the learned counsel for the appellants sought adjournment. Though the appeal is pending from the year 2013, today, the matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal". Today when the matter is taken up for hearing there is no representation for the appellants and hence this Court has no other option except to dismiss the same for non prosecution.

2. Accordingly, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed for non prosecution. The XIX Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai is directed to secure all the accused to undergo remaining period of imprisonment, if any.
