O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property.
2. When the matter came up for hearing on 18.02.2025, this Court passed the following order:
"Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. It is seen from records that the property purchased by the petitioner was the subject matter under the Land Ceiling Act. Ultimately, the petitioner was brought within the ambit of an innocent purchaser. The Director of Urban Land Ceiling, through proceedings dated 26.12.2023, directed the petitioner to pay the prescribed fees in order to regularize the purchase. Accordingly, the petitioner also paid necessary fees on 19.01.2024. There was absolutely no progress thereafter and the application submitted by the petitioner seeking for patta was also kept pending by the fourth respondent.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader shall take written instructions in this regard and based on the same, final orders will be passed in this writ petition.
Post this writ petition at the end of the motion list on 06.03.2025."
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that patta has been issued in favour of the petitioner in Patta No.25578. A copy of the patta has also been placed before this Court.
