Today, the matter is listed under the caption 'for reporting compliance'. 2.This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for his willful disobedience of the order passed in Crl.OP.No.20176 of 2020 dated 4.1.2021.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that investigation was completed and final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Palacode in E-Filing No.LTN 20220002042 C 202400245, dated 6.6.2024. The learned counsel submitted that the learned Magistrate is yet to act upon the final report filed by the respondent police. 4.In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palacode, to act upon the final report filed by the respondent police in Crime No.9 of 2017, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
