This petition is filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.19677 of 2022 dated 03.08.2022.

It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondents have reiterated the same action, which was taken earlier and they have not considered the representation of the petitioner and instead of 34 Sq.ft., the authorities have calculated 74.83 sq.ft.,, which is excessive, thereby pleaded initiate contempt action against the respondent.

Per contra, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for CMDA would submit that as per the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.19677 of 2022 dated 03.08.2022, the petitioner was called upon to the office of the respondent on 08.04.2024 to submit the original documents, as per representation of the petitioner dated 24.08.2022 and thereafter, orders have been passed, therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication and hence pleaded to close the present petition. In view of the above, the present Contempt Petition is closed, as nothing survives for further adjudication and if the petitioner is aggrieved as against the orders passed by the respondent, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same. No costs.
