ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail, as he was secured on 28.02.2017, pursuant to an NBW issued by the trial Court on 07.06.2014.

2. I have heard Mr.S.Parameswaran, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr.R.Sekar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), appearing for the respondent.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the petitioner is a law abiding citizen and since the petitioner was ill, he was unable to appear before the Court. Hence, a NBW was issued against him. Accordingly, the petitioner was arrested and put under judicial custody from 28.02.2017.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), would state that at least two previous cases are pending against him and once he is released on bail, he would further abscond and it would be further difficult for the trial Court to go ahead with the trial.
