ORDER
When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint against Govindasamy and Kathavarayan based on which, petition enquiry is being conducted in CSR.No.127/2016.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in the guise of conducting enquiry, the petitioner has been harassed by the respondent police. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to withdraw the complaint and seeks permission of this Court to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. Recording the same, the petitioner is directed to give a letter to the Investigating Officer / respondent police for withdrawing the complaint in CSR.No.127 of 2016 and on such letter being given, the same should be closed and the petitioner shall not be harassed on that complaint. However, If there is any other complaint received by the respondent police against this petitioner, this order cannot be a shield to protect the petitioner.
With the above observation, the criminal original petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
