O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to revoke the suspension order passed against the petitioner by proceedings dated 24.07.2017 by considering the representation made by the petitioner within time frame fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner was working as an Assistant in the Sub Registrar Officer at Kunnatur, Tiruppur District. An FIR came to be registered for the offence under Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 18.07.2017. Consequently, the petitioner was suspended from service with effect from 18.07.2017.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is continuing to be kept under suspension without any review and there is absolutely no progress in the criminal case also and therefore, the petitioner had made representations to the respondents requesting for revocation of suspension. the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

4.Heard Mr.A.Thiyagarajan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioner on 27.02.2018, 01.04.2019, 08.11.2019 and 30.01.2020 and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 1st respondent along with a copy of the representations dated 27.02.2018, 01.04.2019, 08.11.2019 and 30.01.2020 and a copy of this order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
