Mr.K.Raja Srinivas [in all W.Ps.] COMMON ORDER [Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] Petitioners have filed the present Writ Petitions seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing respondents from interfering with the running of petitioners' bunk shops at (i) No.121, Uthamar Gandhi Road, Opp. to Ranjith Hotel, Nungambakkam, Chennai - 600034 (ii) T.B.Hospital Compound, Konnur High Road, Otteri, Chennai-600012 and (iii) Koil Parking Compound, Opp. to Karur Vysya Bank, Whites Road, Royapettah, Chennai - 600014, wherein selling tea, coffee, snacks and other food items therein till the petitioners' representations dated 06.02.2020, 24.09.2019 and 06.02.2020 are considered and decided as per the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood Regulation) Act, 2014, by respondents.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned

standing counsel appearing for respondents.

3. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that it would suffice if a direction is issued to respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 06.02.2020, 24.09.2019 and 06.02.2020 within a stipulated time.

4. Considering the said submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 06.02.2020, 24.09.2019 and 06.02.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to petitioners.

The Writ Petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
