ORDER

The writ petitions has been filed for direction to direct the respondents to settle the arrears of salary and other monetary benefits due and payable to the petitioner for the period while she was in service as B.T. Assistant for the period between 28.04.2003 to 11.12.2003, under the first respondent and also direct them to return the service Register (Book) of the petitioner to her.

While pending the writ petition, the parties viz., the petitioner and the first respondent school amicably settled the issue and a sum of Rs.33,750/- was directly paid to the petitioner by way of demand draft, drawn in her favour in D.D.No.708496 dated 24.08.2023, drawn on Indian Bank, Madras High Court, as full and final settlement. It is made clear that the petitioner has no further claim as against the first respondent. Insofar as the service register is concerned, before approval, the petitioner had resigned her job as such, no service register was created for the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. There shall be no order as to cost.
