ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to provide the electricity connection to the newly erected bore-well which is situated in S.No.582/8.

2.According to the petitioner, she purchased the agricultural land comprised in S.No.582/8 from one Mr.E.S.Kathirvel and his legal heirs on 06.12.2007. As the third respondent herein being the neighbour of the petitioner, has been troubling her from taking water through the well situated there, she lodged a complaint to the Vellithirupur Police Station on 19.10.2017. As there was no response from them, she approached the Superintendent of Police, Erode and finding no response, she is before this Court seeking the above prayer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court hereby directs the respondents to consider the application made by the petitioner, seeking electricity service connection, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties.

4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
