O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017 for inclusion of the petitioner's husband's name viz., Chakravarthy in the legal heirship certificate dated 27.01.2011. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioner's husband viz., Chakravarthy had died on 20.12.2009, leaving behind his surviving legal heirs. However, in the legal heirship certificate issued on 27.01.2011, in respect of the legal heirs of the father-in-law of the petitioner, the petitioner's husband's name has not been included. In these circumstances, the petitioner has given a representation dated 23.03.2017, however, the same has not yet been considered by the respondent.

3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders in accordance with law.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017 and pass orders, after conducting proper enquiry, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
