Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the entire records pertaining to the order passed by the 2nd respondent vide his proceeding in Na.Ka.No.859/Ka2/113, dated 25.07.2013 allotting the contract to the 3rd respondent and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable and against the instructions issued by the 1st respondent and thereby direct the 2nd respondent to confirm the tender in the name of the petitioner for all the diet and non diet articles including bread for the supply to in-patients of Government Headquarters Hospitals Thiruvallur. The learned counsel for the respondents submits that the matter has now become infructuous, since the tender which is the subject matter of challenge in this writ petition is only for a period of six months from 01.04.2013 to 30.09.2013 .
