Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 & 2 herein to consider the representation dated 4.3.2014 submitted by the petitioner to cancel the Patta No. 1425 issued by the 2nd respondent in favour of the Minor Revathi Daughter of the said Vijaya Bai in respect of the property measuring to an extent of 1.97 Acres of Land comprised in survey No. 185/B1 as per Joint Patta No. 905 at Nimmiyampattu Village and Post, Vaniyambadi Taluk, Vellore District situate within the SRO-Vaniyambadi.

It is represented by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the relief sought for by the petitioner has been granted by the Tahsildar, Vaniyambadi vide proceedings in Mu.Mu.Aa1/943/2015 dated 26.02.2015. The learned counsel has also given a letter dated 20.07.2015 to the Registry seeking to list the matter under the caption of "withdrawal".

2.In the light of the said development, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Copy of the proceedings dated 26.02.2015 issued by the Tahsildar, Vaniyambadi and the letter dated 20.07.2015 given by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, is placed on record. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
