This revision petition is filed by the respondent in IA.No.139 of 2011 in GOP.No.3 of 2011 on the file of the Family Court, Salem.

2. Mr.R.Syed Mustafa, learned counsel appearing for the revision 1/4

petitioner sought time to get instructions from his client with regard to the pendency of GOP.No.3 of 2011 on the file of the Family Court, Salem. Therefore, this court directed the Registry to ascertain whether GOP.No.3 of 2011 is still pending on the file of the Family Court, Salem. Accordingly, the learned Judge, Family Court, Salem sent an e-mail to the Registrar General, Madras High Court in D.No.283/2019, dated 05.08.2019 stating that GOP.No.3 of 2011 was dismissed on 17.06.2016.

3. Since IA.No.139 of 2011 in GOP.No.3 of 2011 was filed for interim custody of the minor child and the fact that GOP.No.3 of 2011 itself was dismissed on 17.06.2016 itself, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present Civil Revision Petition. Therefore, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
