Common Prayer:- Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, to punish the respondent herein committed contempt by disobeying the order of this Court dated 04.09.2018 passed in W.A.No.1152 of 2018.

For Petitioner : Mr.G.Krishnakumar For Respondents : Mr.V.Arun Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.Karthik Jeganathan for R1 to R3 Mr.P.T.Ramkumar, Standing Counsel for R2 C O M M O N O R D E R The Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu, Revenue and Disaster Management has filed an affidavit pursuant to our dated 23.01.2023. Paragraph 6 and 7 of the said affidavit extracted below:- 2/5

"6.It is respectfully submitted that, according to the above proceedings, registration of sale deed was executed with land owners Thiru.Thilagar and Tmt.Vasantha on 19.01.2023 and 20.01.2023 respectively.

7.It is respectfully submitted that the Deputy Chief Manager, MRTS has sent an additional amount of Rs.3,00,00,000/- vide Cheque No.073125 dated 18.01.2023 to the Special Tahsildar (MRTS) on 18.01.2023. The same was deposited into the State Bank of India, Tambaram Branch on 18.01.2023 vide Challan No.20230118009047. The cheque was cleared and amount was deposited into the Special Tahsildar (MRTS) account only on 23.01.2023."

2.Mr.G.Krishnakumar, learned counsel appearing for the contempt petitioners would submit that entire amount payable as compensation has been credited to the account of the claimants. 3.In view of the said statement, these Contempt Petitions are closed.
