Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to engage the petitioner as a Core Faculty at the SIRD, Maraimalainagar as per his order dated 29.07.2013 in his proceedings Rc.No.1592/2001/A1 without reference to any condition as put forth in that order.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 1st respondent to engage the petitioner as a Core Faculty at the SIRD, Maraimalainagar as per his order dated 29.07.2013 in his proceedings Rc.No.1592/2001/A1 without reference to any condition as put forth in that order.

2. On perusal of the impugned order, it reveals that the period of contract is only 11 months at a consolidated pay with certain conditions. Aggrieved by the said conditions, the petitioner has filed this petition with the above said prayer. Once the period of contract is over and while entertaining this writ petition, this Court did not grant any interim order and the services of the petitioner is temporary one and the same was terminated earlier. Hence nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
