The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.01.2024 for the offences registered under Sections 279, 328 of I.P.C and Section 7 and 20(2) of Ciggarate and other Tobacco Act 2003 in Crime No.28 of 2024, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2. It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner was in possession of 538 kilo grams of Hans 6.7 kilo grams of Vimal Pan Masala, 1.700 Kilo grams of V1 Tobacco Products.

3. The learned Government Advocate ( Criminal Side) stated that the quantity of contraband involved in this case is substantial in nature. He further submitted that investigation is not yet completed. 1/3

4. In view of the above, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner herein. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed.
