O R D E R
This Court by an order, dated 04.06.2018 directed the respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings within a period of six months from the date of receipt / production of the copy of the order. Since the respondent has not completed the disciplinary proceedings within the said period fixed by this Court, the petitioner has filed 1/3
contempt petition.
2. Today, when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner. The learned Govt. Advocate placed a letter addressed to the Additional Government Pleader and the application of the petitioner, dated 16.12.2019 wherein the petitioner requested the inquiry officer, third respondent in the writ petition, seeking one month time to submit his explanation to the inquiry officer.
3. Recording the statement made in the aforesaid letter and the application of the petitioner, dated 16.12.2019 requesting the inquiry officer to grant one month time to submit his explanation, no further adjudication is required in the contempt proceedings and accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. No costs.
