Heard both sides.

2. The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 341, 323, 324 and 307 of in Crime No.162 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police and hence, pray for anticipatory bail.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners and seven others are alleged to have assembled with deadly weapons unlawfully and voluntarily hurt the defacto complainant and four others.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is a counter case between the parties in Crime Nos.163 and 164 of 2017. Some of the accused have been released on bail by the lower Court in counter case in Cr.M.P.No.2065 of 2017 on 25.05.2017. He further submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case and they have not committed any such offence.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that there is a counter case pending between the parties.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the other accused have been released on bail by the lower Court and there is no need for custodial interrogation in this case, this Court is inclined to entertain this petition.

7. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Arakkonam within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the following conditions :- (i) Each of the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Arakkonam or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest and (ii) The petitioners shall report before the respondent police daily twice at 10.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. 02.06.2017 cla Crl.O.P.No.9560 of 2017 http://www.judis.nic.in
