O R D E R

The petitioner, who is the wife of the respondent, has filed the above Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition to withdraw and transfer the H.M.O.P.No.680 of 2019 pending on the file of the Subordinate Court, Poonamallee to the file of the Family Court, Ooty.

2.In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the petitioner has stated that she is residing in Coonoor Taluk, Nilgiris District and therefore, she is finding it very difficult to travel all the way from Coonoor to Poonamallee, which is about 500 kms away, for contesting the Original Petition.

3.The learned counsel for the respondent has no serious objection for transferring the Original Petition from the file of the Subordinate Court, Poonamallee to the Family Court, Ooty.

4.In view of the averments stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and also the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I withdraw the Original Petition in H.M.O.P.No.680 of 2019 pending on the file of the Subordinate Court, Poonamallee and transfer the same to the file of the Family Court, Ooty. Poonamallee is directed to despatch the records within ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the Family Court Judge, Ooty is directed to re-number the Original Petition and dispose of the same, as expeditiously as possible.

5.With these observations, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
