This application has been filed to direct the Registry to refund the Court fee of Rs.97,500/- paid to the credit of the above Cross Objection Vide (I) Receipt No. TNCT1655L2532P619 (WN 0000126587 For Rs. 50,000/- and (II) Receipt No. TNCTI627L2531P266 (WN 0000126588) For Rs.47500/- to the petitioner in the name of her Advocate.

2. Instead of filing the Puducherry Court fee (Stamp Papers), by mistake, the petitioner has paid the Court fee issued by the Registry of the Tamil Nadu Treasury. On being put on notice, the petitioner has rectified the other by paying the appropriate Court fee procured from the Puducherry Treasury.

3. The present application has been filed, seeking refund of the Court fee, which has been paid by way of Tamil Nadu Judicial Stamp Papers.

4. Heard Mr.V.Sairam, learned counsel for the petitioner.

5. I have gone through the affidavit filed in support of this petition and I am satisfied that the petitioner is entitled to refund of the Court fee, as the 1/3

petitioner has also expressed that the refund of Court fee may be paid by issuance of cheque in the name of the counsel.

6. Accordingly, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered. 24.02.2026 jd 2/3
